While sailing across the Caribbean in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, you'll come across all kinds of wildlife that you can interact with rather than hunt. One of the game's achievements, A Friend to All, claims that you only need to interact with seven animals, but that isn't actually the case.

There are eight friendly animals in total, and interacting with every one of them is required for the trophy to unlock. Most of these animals have multiple spawn locations, making them much easier to find. Below are a few reliable locations for every friendly animal in the game.

Monkey

The easiest way to interact with a monkey is by opening the Animus Shop and scrolling down until you find the Shipmate Monkey, which can be claimed for free. After claiming it, head into the Inventory menu and equip it under the Pet section.

You can't pet the monkey while aboard the Jackdaw, so fast travel to your Manor at Great Inagua, where you'll find it waiting for you.

There's also a second monkey you can encounter naturally. Head south of Havana and complete the Monkey Business local event. During the event, board the ship, eliminate the enemies, and rescue the monkey.

More than half of the friendly animals can be found in Kingston, making it the best place to work toward this trophy.

Cat

Coordinates:

  • 225, 570 (Havana)
  • 616, 169 (Kingston)

In Havana, head to the southern docks where a cat can usually be found roaming along the wooden walkway.

Another cat can be found in Kingston at the marketplace just north of the central synchronization point.

Dog

Coordinates:

  • 619, 169 (Kingston)
  • 616, 155 (Kingston)

Dogs can be found wandering around the same marketplace as the cats in Kingston.

Another reliable location is the docks just south of Kingston.

Chicken

Coordinates:

  • 617, 170 (Kingston)

Chickens can also be found in Kingston's marketplace, slightly east of where the cats and dogs usually appear.

Pig

Coordinates:

  • 623, 157 (Kingston)

Head to the Harbormaster located in the southeastern part of Kingston. The pig can usually be found roaming just to the left of the building.

Cow

Coordinates:

  • 628, 162 (Kingston)

Travel to the far eastern side of Kingston to find several cows inside a fenced enclosure.

Turtle

Coordinates:

  • 582, 804 (Abaco Island)

Turtles can be found along the shoreline on Abaco Island. If one is swimming in the water, wait a few moments until it crawls back onto the beach, as you can't interact with turtles while they're in the water.

Parrot

Coordinates:

  • 817, 444 (Great Inagua)
  • 212, 588 (Havana)

After fully restoring and upgrading the General Store at Great Inagua, you'll find a parrot inside a cage just outside the store.

Another parrot can be found in a cage at the marketplace in Havana, roughly around the middle of the area.
