With the launch of Palworld 1.0 a ton of new things have been added to the game. There are lots of important changes and too little time to describe them all in detail, so let's get them downsized to the 5 most important changes that players will experience in the full release of the game.

This list will describe the biggest changes in Palworld 1.0, and help players understand some of the key elements that will direct the path they will take as they explore this vast and wonderful world. Be careful though, since the game has increased in size exponentially, you might get a bit too immersed in it!

Effigies Have Been Reworked

Now They Are Really Worth Collecting

In the past, players had only to worry about getting those shiny green Lifmunk effigies, but now, there's a whole trove of these little statuettes to find around Palworld 1.0. The full release includes new and powerful buffs to be gained, like increased Movement Speed, Jump Height, Hunger Rate Reduction, Swimming boost, and Pal Sphere tracking.

Players can now find Lamball Effigies, Pengullet Effigies, Roobly Effigies, Lunaris Effigies, and more. Players just need to know when to return them to the Statue of Power (Anubis Statue) to exchange them for increased stats (AKA, Permanent Buffs). Of course, that also means players will need to put double the effort into finding these Effigies, which are now scattered all across the Palpagos Islands, Sakurajima, Feybreak, and Sunreach Isles (Floating Islands), as well as the World Tree.

Spawning Zones Have Been Greatly Altered

The Whole Pal Collection & Endgame System Has Changed

Previously, Palworld players could get some really powerful Pals (even Legendary ones) before even accessing the endgame. The likes of Faleris, Orserk, and Astegon were easily reachable and breedable. Now, that has changed for good: Most of the overpowered Combat Pals that players knew from the pre-release version have changed spawn zones.

The World Tree Island has become a sort of end-game target to reach and catch all the powerful Pals they used to have in previous saves. Of course, if they already have some strong partners from a previously saved game, that simplifies things a lot. The thing is, this is not the only change made to the game, and they might find out that their previously overpowered Pals are now weaker in comparisson to the newest additions to the Paldeck. Another reason to go ahead and explore the map wholeheartedly.

The Map Has Become Massive

Lot's Of New Places To Be, So Little Time

Speaking of which, the map is just too massive. For fans of other Monster-catching/breeding franchises, having such an immeasurable open world to explore is a dream come true. Some who are fascinated by the RPG inner workings of Palworld, which combine base management, building, breeding, combat, and monster collector gimmicks, might think this is a true Masterpiece.

And honestly, the game is so big and appealing that it cannot just pass as something made by rookie devs. It's highly polished, but also made with love, care, and a considerable amount of effort. The quest for endless exploration has a goal, though: To reach the World Tree, an area that was inaccessible until Palworld 1.0 made it possible. But, players will have to catch a special Pal named Panthalus and reach the end game if they want to access this zone. Be warned, though: It will be a long process.

Breeding System Overhaul & Important Changes To Pals

Raising Pals Has Never Been This Fun!

For fans of breeding and monster raising, there is some good news and some bad news as well. The good news is that the breeding system has been totally overhauled, with new passive skills, breeding cakes that cause different effects, and even the Mutation and Awakening Systems that add a new layer of complexity to raising pals in the Ranch.

Now, for the bad news: All breeding formulas have changed, so players might notice that breeding some pals like Anubis, Astegon, Orserk, and Faleris, prior to level 30, might be extremely difficult, if not impossible. But the silver lining of this is that there are more than 150 Pals to get (180, to be exact), and that makes up over 64.000 breeding formulas that players can try and discover new ways to raise their perfect partners.

Full Rebalance of Tech System & New Level Cap

Reach New Heights, Become More Powerful

With the Level Cap being raised up to Lvl. 80, and access to New Technologies and Buildings, Palworld 1.0 feels like an entirely different game. Raids on your bases become more and more extreme the more you progress into the story, but there are also a lot of tools to defend your base with.

From new High-tech Weapons and a Combat Bow, to Laser Swords and a Beam Launcher, there's a ton of new technologies to unleash upon the world. Becoming a Master Tamer or a Ruthless Pal Base Overlord is up to the players. Still, lots of fun and new things to build in the process!
