This Massive 75" TCL 4K Google TV Drops to a Mere $398 With Free Shipping at Walmart

Walmart is currently offering one of the best prices I've seen this year for a big screen TV. Right now you can pick up a brand new 75" TCL S5 series 4K Google TV for just $398 with free shipping. It's sold and shipped by Walmart direct, not a marketplace vendor, and comes with a 1 year TCL warranty.

75" TCL S5 Series 4K Google TV for $398

As far as TVs go, my rule of thumb is bigger is better as long as you have enough space. If you're on a budget and want the best bang for your buck, screen size will nearly always make a bigger impression than any other feature. That's not to say the TCL S5 is a bad TV, not by any means. This is a no-frills native 4K 60Hz display with Motion Rate 240 enhancement, HDR PRO+ with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, & HLG support, and a built-in Google TV smart interface.

The TCL S5 is a great TV for PlayStation 5 gaming despite the fact that it doesn't have a native 120Hz refresh rate. The honest reality is that unless you're rocking a PS5 Pro, the vast majority of games are locked at 60fps, even in performance mode. Furthermore if you have a Switch 2, 120Hz is wasted; the Switch 2 supports 60Hz max at 4K in docked mode.

For the amount you save compared to getting a higher end TV, you could buy yourself a ton of video games and maybe even another console. For many (dare I say most) people, that's money better spent.
