The Fortnite Hot Bat DC Summer Event officially starts on Thursday, July 16, right after downtime. The downtime for the next update will begin at 4 AM ET and will likely last a few hours. While the time that downtime ends has not been fully confirmed and typically varies, we expect players to be able to jump into the DC Summer Event at around about 6 AM ET.

As with all updates, players will be able to download everything during downtime before it ends, giving you enough time to get everything installed and jump straight in. For those unsure of when the update will roll around in their timezone, see below:
