Anthropic launches Claude Tag enterprise collaborative tool for agentic workflows
No sign of Claude Fable 5’s return yet, though Anthropic does have a new Claude feature launching today. Claude Tag is “a new way for teams to work with Claude,” per Anthropic.
Claude Tag is a new beta feature launching with Slack integration for Enterprise and Team customers
While it sounds like Claude Tag will eventually work with different platforms, the feature arrives today with Slack integration to start.
“We’re starting on Slack, which Claude can join as a team member. Grant Claude access to selected channels, and connect it to whichever tools, data—and even codebases—you choose,” Anthropic says.
“Then, anyone in the channel can tag @Claude in, and delegate tasks to it while they focus on other work. Claude builds context by remembering relevant information from the channels it’s in, and can plan out tasks to complete in the future.”
The company describes Claude Tag as an evolution of Claude Code. It’s also a tool that Anthropic has been using internally for a while.
The company says Claude Tag gives everyone on a team access to the same version of Claude, and the tool can learn over time. It can also work proactively if “ambient” behavior is turned on, and tasks can be scheduled and automated.
Claude Tag replaces the existing Claude in Slack tool, which is going away in August
Claude Tag arrives today as a beta feature for Anthropic customers. The feature works with Enterprise and Team subscription tiers.
Anthropic says the new Claude Tag tool replaces the Claude in Slack tool, which will go away on August 3. You can learn much more about the new Claude Tag feature from Anthropic here.
