Apple releases developer beta 2 for iPadOS 27
Earlier this month after its WWDC unveiling, Apple released the first developer beta for iPadOS 27.
Now today, iPadOS 27 beta 2 has arrived.
iPad users will find the update inside Settings ⇾ General ⇾ Software Update.
Major new features and changes in iPadOS 27 include:
- Siri AI, which requires joining a waitlist first
- New features in apps like Messages, Notes, Photos, and Reminders
- Design refinements plus a Liquid Glass slider
- and more
We’re expecting a variety of additional changes in today’s beta 2 release. At a minimum the update should include bug fixes and performance improvements—but potentially new features and design tweaks too.
