Black Ops 2 Zombies upgraded a few Perk-a-Colas and introduced some new ones. For instance, Double Tap 2.0 in Black Ops 2 Zombies increases your fire rate and shoots 2 bullets for the price of 1. With buffs like these on the table, it's vital to learn how all 11 Perks in Black Ops 2 Zombies work, which is why we'll showcase their effects and secret mechanics below, along with what maps they feature on, so you know when you'll be missing out on a fan-favorite.

Outside of the standard Perk-a-Colas, there are also Perma-Perks, which you can find in the guide below.

All Black Ops 2 Zombies Perks, Explained

Perk

Cost

Effects and Mechanics

Double Tap 2.0

2,000 Points

Fire Rate is increased by 33%.

Shoots 2 bullets at the cost of 1 bullet.

Basically, it's double damage, but not for explosives.

JuggerNog

2,500 Points

Increases your Health by 150, raising it to a total of 250.

This allows you to survive 4 zombie hits (you will go down on the 5th).

This can even be combined with Perma-JuggerNog to tank 8 hits instead of the default 2.

Speed Cola

3,000 Points

Increases your reload speed by 50%.

Quick Revive

500 Points (Solo)

1,500 Points (Co-Op)

In Solo, you can revive yourself up to three times, and each time you go down, you will have Mustang & Sally (unless you have a Ray Gun).

In co-op, your revive speed toward other players is doubled. (1.5 seconds)

This speed is further increased with Perma-Quick Revive (0.75 seconds).

Stamin-Up

2,000 Points

Move 7% faster (including walking, running, prone, etc).

Sprint for twice as long.

Makes weapons you are carrying lighter, so your movement speed is less restrictive.

Mule Kick

4,000 Points

Carry a third weapon slot.

Going down removes Mule Kick and the third weapon carried.

Tombstone Soda

2,000 Points

(TranZit)

Co-Op exclusive Perk.

When you go down and bleed out, you will respawn in the next Round, where you can find your "Tombstone" at your place of death. Interacting with it gives you back your Perks and weapons.

Who's Who

2,000 Points

(Die Rise)

When you downed, you will instantly spawn as a doppelganger equipped with a 1911.

You need to navigate through the zombies and revive yourself before you bleed out to keep your Perks and weapons.

If you bleed out, you will stay as the doppelganger.

Deadshot Daiquiri

1,500 Points

(Mob of the Dead + Origins)

Increases hipfire accuracy by 35%.

Reduces weapon recoil.

Reduces sway on Sniper Rifles.

Aim Assist centers on the head (but not for PC).

Electric Cherry

2,000 Points

(Mob of the Dead + Origins)

Electrifies the radius around you to damage and stun zombies, but only when you reload.

The effectiveness of the electric wave is determined by the number of bullets in the magazine (the fewer bullets, the more powerful the electric wave).

Vulture Aid

3,000 Points

(Buried)

See Perk Machines, Wall-Buys, and Mystery Box locations through walls.

Zombies can drop ammo or points (ammo is 10% of your weapon's magazine size, and the points are 5-20).

Zombies can also have a green gas cloud, and when killed and standing in said cloud, you are temporarily invisible to zombies.

PhD Flopper

2,000 Points

(Origins)

Immune to self-explosive damage.

Dolphin Dive from a raised surface to create an explosion.

You can also get PhD Flopper as a secret Perma-Perk in Buried.

Best Perks in Black Ops 2 Zombies

best perks bo2

No matter the map, I'm always running the same four Perks:

  • JuggerNog - My starting and forever perk, as this gives me more health, so I don't go down in a measly two hits.
  • Double Tap 2.0 - It's the perk that gives double damage, so it would be foolish not to run it.
  • Quick Revive (Solo) - This is essentially three extra lives to prevent me from hitting a game over before I'm ready.
  • Stamin-Up - I like to be able to move faster, sprint for longer, and without the size of my gun slowing me down, since my preferred style is to train zombies and stay on the move.

When not playing Solo, I usually avoid Quick Revive and go for something like Speed Cola or Electric Cherry. You can also swap out Stamin-Up for one of these Perks, but I like being able to move faster and run for longer, as I don't intend to corner camp.
