The Phasmophobia of Roblox, Animal Hospital Anomaly, has players teaming up with friends and strangers to survive scary anomalies in fun co-op rounds, though you can also play on your own.
Right now, Doctor, Surgeon, and Secret Agent stand out as the best classes in the game, with the last one being a premium pick. If you're not sure which classes are worth spending your hard-earned Animal Coins on, check out our dedicated Animal Hospital Anomaly guide below.

Best Classes in Animal Hospital Anomaly
S-Tier Classes (Best)
- Doctor is one of the best free classes in Animal Hospital Anomaly. Your Sanity automatically goes back up by 1 while you're treating patients, and you start each round with an extra +10, +15, or +20 Sanity, depending on your upgrade level. Thanks to its decent utility stat, you also move faster than most classes.
- Surgeon is currently the most expensive class in the game and honestly isn't that impressive at Level 1. However, at max level, it grants bonus base Sanity, extra starting Sanity, and increased movement speed, all of which can make clearing those creepy shifts way easier.
- For endgame players, the Secret Agent is worth investing in if you're planning on spending Robux. It comes with a free gun that has 20 to 24 uses, a reusable scanner that can detect anomalies during Ambulance Rush events every two minutes, and, at max level, grants +4 Sanity and +5 Cash whenever you defeat a monster with the gun.
A-Tier Classes (Powerful)
- Paramedic grants a permanent movement speed bonus once it's leveled up to Level 3, making it useful for stopping rituals, carrying fainted patients, completing Ambulance Rush events, and consuming food items for Sanity recovery.
- Security Class is a bit pricey for what you get, so it's only worth prioritizing in co-op if you plan on taking down anomalies nonstop. Otherwise, you can just use the X-Taser for free as you progress through the rounds.
- If you're okay with spending real money in this Roblox experience, the Head Nurse Class gives you three more carry slots, +10 bonus Sanity, and a Special Technique that lets you use meds from your backpack on patients at the start of every night.
B-Tier Classes (Early Game)
- For players looking to survive plenty of the initial night shifts in Animal Hospital Anomaly, the Secretary Class is an ideal pick. For just 120 Animal Coins, it boosts your Sanity and also earns you more money than usual.
- Although Intern is the Default Class, it's still a pretty decent pick for beginner players since it grants bonus Sanity at each level, allowing you to stay in the game longer.
C-Tier Classes (Below average)
- Nurse Class mainly offers extra utility and inventory space, which you can use to store up to three extra Coffee Cups to maintain Sanity and treat patients faster. However, its low starting Sanity can make completing hospital check-ins more difficult.
- While having double Sanity might sound like a great deal, the Psychologist Class also causes it to drain twice as fast from anomalies, job stress, and more. Because of that, it's pretty risky to equip. If your Sanity runs out, you can die, and handling rush events or dealing with monsters becomes a real struggle.
