Moonlight Peaks: Best Mods
Hamza Haq serves as a writer for the gaming guides and lists department at GameRant, while dabbling in news coverage on the side. Based in Pakistan, he has been writing professionally about games since 2023, though his love for gaming stretches back much further.
A dedicated PC gamer and a firm believer in Keyboard/Mouse supremacy, he will play Tekken with WASD if you let him. Although he considers himself a PC loyalist to the bone, he has a weakness for anything Nintendo. While he mainly enjoys RPGs, he is open to trying new things and exploring different genres, especially indies with cool ideas.
When he’s not bent over a keyboard, he’s reading fantasy novels, discovering obscure podcasts, experimenting with home-brewed coffee concoctions, and trying to convince his dad that his career is, in fact, a real job.
Mods for Moonlight Peaks on PC have access to a host of mods that add quality-of-life improvements, new gameplay mechanics, and even cheats to tailor the experience for different players.
Best Mods for Moonlight Peaks
Serena’s Grimoire

Serena’s Grimoire is an aggregator mod that combines a lot of features from other SerenaEnchanted’s mods into one. Chiefly, it adds a custom spell wheel to the game that you can activate and use at any time with various cost-free spells, as well as a Teleport feature that lets you instantly travel anywhere on the map. The full list of features is:
- Blood Rain: Make it rain instantly in a 5x5 area.
- Death’s Grasp: Cut trees and mine stones in a large area in front of the player.
- Bat Swarm: Auto-picks up all items in a large area in front of the player, including crops, fish, critters, and items you can pick up like flowers.
- Breath of Life: Instantly grow crops and trees in a large area in front of the player.
- Grave Digger: Instantly dig a patch of 5x5 land in front of the player.
- Grave Filler: Instantly close a patch of 5x5 land in front of the player.
- Blitz: Instantly complete production of nearby machines and crafting stations.
- Vampiric Seduction: Charm an NPC to gain max hearts.
- Bag of Holding: Open Base Storage anywhere.
- Time Tether: Manual save that does not require sleep.
- Time Freeze: Stops the passage of time, stopping all NPCs in their tracks. Can be toggled on or off.
- Infinite Energy and Mana: Energy and Mana are not consumed when performing actions or casting spells.
- Map Teleport: Right-Click on any spot on the map to teleport to that location instantly, skipping loading screens.
- Cutscene Fast-Forward: Press Backspace to make cutscenes go much faster than normal speed.
Camera Zoom Mod
- Download Link
The Camera Zoom Mod lets you zoom out the default camera view so that you can see much more of what’s going on around you. This is extremely useful when you’re trying to get familiar with the layout of the town and the surrounding areas and aren’t too familiar with what the correct path to take is.
Serena’s Far Sight (Scroll out further) mod does the same thing as this mod, but since I’ve been using the Camera Zoom Mod without any problems for a long time, that’s what I can personally vouch for.
Serena's My Little Black Book
My Little Black Book adds an immersive diary to the game that tracks the details of every resident of Moonlight Peaks, including what gifts they love and hate, their schedule, and your previous interactions with them.
It’s essentially a more informative version of the default relationship menu, with every bell and whistle imaginable. You can even cllick on the "Go to them" option in the top right to instantly teleport to an NPC's exact location, even if they're inside a house.
Serena’s Conjuring Item Spawner
Serena’s Conjuring Item Spawner is a cheat mod that gives you the ability to get any item in the game without having to craft or buy it yourself. You can select the quality (star level) of the item as well, making this option very useful for progressing Museum completion.
Serena’s Salon
Serena’s Salon gives you access to every character customization option in the game instantly. Instead of having to jump through hoops like potions, you get the ability to change the appearance of your character without any limitations, right from the get-go.
Walk Through Crops
Simple mod that lets you phase through crops that would otherwise block your body. This is extremely useful if you have dense farmland and have to constantly struggle with pathing when planting and harvesting in that area.
Stack to Storage and Chests
Stack to Storage and Chests adds an auto deposit system that detects whether or not an item already exists in your home storage or in a storage chest. If it does, pressing the relevant keybind (C) allows you to deposit all similar items into their pre-existing stacks instantly. The goal is to make inventory management as convenient as possible.
BiggerStacks
BiggerStacks lets you customize the maximum limit of stacks using an in-game menu, to a maximum of 999 items in a single stack. While stack size isn’t really a concern in the early game, it becomes a problem later on when you have dozens of 100x stacks of Wood, Stone, and Fiber taking up extra space in your inventory.
While it is certainly possible to store all of these items in the Home Storage, getting a 999x stack of an item means you make extremely efficient use of your own inventory space. Not only that, but your Home Storage will also be easier to manage.
The key to configure the stack size in this mod is F1 by default.
Always Show Item Value
By default, the only way you can see how much an item is going to sell for is by interacting with Chester, the chest that sells items. With this mod, you can instantly see the value of any item you come across by hovering over its icon in your inventory.
This way, you don’t have to run back to Chester every time. This is mainly useful for checking the prices for crops and rare items like Diamonds or Golden Eggs that you may not know the exact selling price.
How to Install Mods for Moonlight Peaks
Moonlight Peaks mods mainly rely on a tool called BepInEx as a game patcher and plugin loader to hook into the game’s .exe file. This is a modding framework that lets modders create mods for games made in Unity, which is the game engine Moonlight Peaks uses. To install mods, here’s what you need to do:
- Go to the BepInEx GitHub.
- Click on Latest Releases under the Resources section.
- Download BepInEx_win_x64_5.4.x.zip from the Assets section.
- Extract the contents of the zip file to your Moonlight Peaks installation folder (where Moonlight Peaks.exe is located).
- Download the mod you want to install from its Nexus Mods page.
- Extract the contents of the zip file to your Moonlight Peaks installation folder (the same as earlier, where the BepInEx folder is now).
And that’s it! Your mod should be installed and ready to play.
While the method shown above works for most mods available on Nexus Mods, there may be some exceptions. Double-check the Descriptions tab on the modpage to be sure.
