Building the perfect base in Palworld 1.0 is not difficult, especially if you know which Pals are best for farming and their work suitability. The best farming pals can keep crops growing on plantations, gather ores, craft items, and transport resources with extreme efficiency. This allows players to dedicate more time to exploring the enormous map, instead of constantly managing production.

While many Pals are effective at completing base tasks, only a select few stand out thanks to their high Work Suitability levels, useful Partner Skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks at once. Some of the newest Pals introduced with Palworld 1.0 also come with lots of powerful synergies that empower other Pals, making them work even faster. Here's a full guide on which Pals you need to get asap to build the ultimate base in Palworld 1.0.

Knocklem Ignis

Knocklem Ignis

Knocklem Ignis is a powerhouse at both Kindling and Transporting , both at Lvl. 8, which means 2 Ancient Manuals away from reaching maximum level. Knoclem Ignis is one of the Pals you can find in the World Tree, so make sure to bring a couple of high-level Pal Spheres once you have unlocked the area by defeating Panthalus.

For bases that process large amounts of food or refined resources, Knocklem Ignis helps eliminate bottlenecks and keeps production flowing efficiently. Plus, since it is quite resilient, its Sanity levels will not drop at all even under the harshest work conditions.

Incineram

Palworld Incineram

Incineram is still an excellent choice early-to-mid-game, thanks to its Kindling, Mining, and Transporting Work Suitability. It can be found relatively easily by assaulting the Rayne Syndicate camps and releasing it from a Cage, or by finding it at level 13-15 Dungeons.

With a decent Sanity level and active most of the day, Incineram can complete various tasks before it needs to go take a nap. It synergizes well with Pals like Verdash and Anubis, and can fill up the gaps in their skills.

Solenne

Solenne boasts one of the highest levels of Handiwork Suitability in the game (8), and it's even better and faster than Anubis in that regard. Plus, it has Gathering 4 and Transporting 2, and that's a decent extra pair of Work Suitabilities to have in a busy production base. It can be obtained by breeding a Blazamut Ryu and a Faleris Aqua.

Ever since Palworld added Rainbow Perks such as Incredible Craftsmanship, having similar perks stacking with them is absolutely broken. In this case: Work Slave, Artisan, and Incredible Craftsmanship could grant Solenne a potential working speed of 2000, plus, it's already high Handiwork suitability can be upgraded to 10 easily, making it the fastest crafter in Palworld.

Wispaw

Wispaw is a great early Pal with suitability on Handiwork (2), Lumbering (1), Medicine Production (1), and Transporting (1).

Since it barely sleeps, you could say it's an improved version of Depresso. Plus, having it with you will increase the Pal Sphere capture bonus when catching Pals off guard.

Puffolt

Puffolt Palworld

Puffolt might not be extremely good as an Electric-type Pal, or have an elevated level of Electricity Generation Suitability, but what makes this small Pal a great asset is its passive, which increases the global Electricity suitability level of all Base Pals by 1.

This increases the efficiency of Oil Extraction bases exponentially, since it's basically like giving every Electric Pal in the base and Ancient manual to increase its suitability. Good choice for mid to late game.

Dualith

Dualith Palworld

Dualith is a huge pal that, besides having some of the greatest combat abilities in the current version of the game, has lots of Working Suitabilities (Planting and Gathering 3, Lumbering 5, Mining and Transporting 6). Its utility is on par with Pals like Anubis and Knocklem, but it's a bit more versatile and farming-oriented.

Plus. It has a lot of Stamina, and can endure prolonged sessions of working at the Ore Camps in base without becoming a medicine-chugging machine (I'm looking at you, Relaxaurus). Plus, once players invest a bit on it, and with the correct perks and Ability Manual Boosts, Dualith can be as reliable as the strongest base Pals in Palworld 1.0.

Sekhmet

Sekhment might not boast impressive stats or Working Suit abilities, but this Pal has a unique Passive Skill called Desert Empress, which increases the working speed of all Anubis Pals working at base by 20% (30,40,50 at max level). Plus, when Sekhmet is assigned to a Workbench, she will boost the work speed of that crafting station by 30 (40,50,60) % as long as she keeps working on it.

These two passives do not stack, so having various Sekhmet at base is pointless. Still, its utility is undeniable, making an Anubis filled base with a single Sekhmet will create a snowball effect that will increase work efficiency exponentially.

Tetroise Primo

Tertroise Primo

Tertroise Primo is the ultimate mining machine, with a Working suitability of 8 at Mining and Transporting. This colossal square-shaped tortoise will chip down those Ore Stations at base like there's no tomorrow. It eats like a beast, though, so make sure you have the budget to keep this behemoth fully fed and with its Sanity score at max.

On that note, Tetroise Primo is extremely bulky and slow, so having him move around the base might become troublesome. Make sure to put containers near Ore Stations in the base, to make sure Tetroise doesn't have to move around too much, guaranteeing an efficient mining operation.
