Vegeta's glow up in Dragon Ball Super needs to be studied. The Prince of All Saiyans went from weaker than Gohan, Goku, and Gotenks by the end of Dragon Ball Z, to far stronger than all of them – sans Goku – by Resurrection F. After unlocking Ultra Ego in the Granolah the Survivor Saga and defeating Goku fair and square in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, Vegeta is the strongest he's ever been and one of the most powerful Saiyans in the franchise.
Vegeta is reaching Godly levels of power that are only rivaled by the strongest beings in the multiverse. There are only a few characters left in Dragon Ball legitimately stronger than Vegeta and, for the first time in a long time, none of them are Goku. Being stronger than Vegeta requires a level of natural talent and tenacity only few anime characters have. And given how much Toyotarou loves the Prince of All Saiyans, Vegeta's only going to get more powerful in the Black Frieza Saga.
7 Broly's Potential Far Exceeds Vegeta's
No Saiyan has more potential in Dragon Ball than Broly. Born with a Power Level of 10,000, Broly grew into one of the most powerful mortals in the multiverse. Without any formal training, Base Broly was already about as strong as Super Saiyan God Goku and Vegeta. in just his regular Super Saiyan form, Broly has enough power to go toe-to-toe with Super Saiyan Blue, outright surpassing the form when he turns into a Legendary Super Saiyan.
Legendary Super Saiyan Broly was so powerful in Dragon Ball Super: Broly that Goku and Vegeta had no choice but to fuse into Gogeta just to fight him. Even then, Gogeta had to turn Super Saiyan Blue to secure the win. That alone more or less confirms that Vegeta would not be able to defeat Broly in his current state – especially now that Broly has mastered his True Legendary Super Saiyan form in the manga.
6 Gohan Beast is Much Stronger Than Vegeta – For Now
Gohan became the strongest Z-Fighter again when he finally unlocked his Beast transformation at the end of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. An extension of his Ultimate form, Beast brings out all of Gohan's latent potential, while offering him a massive power boost comparable to the likes of Perfected Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego.
In Dragon Ball Super Chapter 103, Gohan Beast is shown to be both stronger and faster than Perfected Ultra Instinct, as well as powerful enough to force Broly into triggering his True Legendary Super Saiyan form. At the end of the chapter, Gohan Beast is implied to win a battle royale between himself, Goku, Vegeta, Broly, Goten, and Trunks, implying he was able to defeat Vegeta. That said, Vegeta still has a chance to one day surpass Gohan Beast, since he ultimately used Super Saiyan Blue Evolved and not Ultra Ego in their match.
5 Black Frieza Beat Ultra Ego Vegeta With One Blow

Frieza has more potential than any other character in the Dragon Ball multiverse, something he proved in terrifying fashion when he debuted his Black Frieza form at the end of the Granolah the Survivor Saga. By training for ten years straight inside a Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Frieza went from weaker than Jiren in the Tournament of Power to stronger than every single mortal in the series.
Black Frieza effortlessly knocked Vegeta out of Ultra Ego with an attack that the Prince of All Saiyans couldn't even react to. Ever since, Vegeta has been training non-stop in order to surpass Frieza and get his revenge. Unfortunately for Vegeta, he and Goku are reaching the peak of their power, and they're going to need a lot of help if they're ever going to be able to compete with Black Frieza.
4 Beerus is the Only God of Destruction Vegeta is Weaker Than
Beerus is far and away the strongest God of Destruction, rivaled only be Quitela and Belmod – both of which, Beerus is much more powerful than. Beerus is the perfect God of Destruction, a master of both Hakai and Ultra Instinct. While Beerus has taken Vegeta on as his disciple as of the Granolah the Survivor Saga, the Prince of All Saiyans is still a long ways away from actually catching up to Beerus once and for all.
That said, Vegeta has surely surpassed the other Gods of Destruction. Belmod was weaker than Jiren, who both Goku and Vegeta have since surpassed, while it's more than likely Vegeta is now more powerful than Quitela after unlocking Ultra Ego. Beerus remains the only God of Destruction who can put Vegeta in his place – but put him in his place Beerus certainly would. Until Vegeta finally masters Ultra Ego, there's no way he's beating Beerus in a straight fight. At least not without Goku's help.
3 Whis & The Angels Are Still The Peak of Power in Their Universes
The Angels are the most powerful warriors in Dragon Ball Super. Each universe has an Angel attendant, who is also the strongest character in their respective universe. Although little is known about the other Angels, save for Vados, Whis is generally considered the most powerful Angel considering he trained both Beerus and Goku, helping the duo unlock their own respective versions of Ultra Instinct.
Every single Angel instinctively knows how to use Ultra Instinct due to it being an Angelic technique. Assuming all the Angels are close in Power Level, they're more or less invincible. Whis has never had to take a single fight seriously, effortlessly blocking one of Planet Moro's strongest blows and making an utter mockery of Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku in the Granolah the Survivor Saga. Even with Ultra Ego, Vegeta would be lucky to land a hit on any of the Angels, let alone Whis.
2 The Grand Priest is the Most Powerful Angel in the Multiverse
The Grand Priest is one of the most mysterious figures in Dragon Ball Super. Little is known about him other than the fact that the Grand Priest is the father of all Angels, Zeno's right-hand man, and the second-strongest character in the Dragon Ball multiverse, second only to the Omni-King himself. As an Angel, the Grand Priest knows how to use Ultra Instinct, and personally trained all of his Angel children.
The Grand Priest is one of the only characters in the franchise who can actually rival Zeno, and even then, it's unclear how close he is in power to the Omni-King. Vegeta would never stand a chance battling the Grand Priest, and would likely be flattened in a matter of seconds. Since Angels are meant to be neutral observers, however, the Grand Priest would not be able to use his full power against Vegeta to begin with.
1 Zeno Could Erase Vegeta Like He's Nothing
The Omni-King, King of All, and ruler of the multiverse, Zeno is the most powerful being and God in Dragon Ball Super right now. Zeno has never been in a fight, but he's so much stronger than every other character in the series, that he has no need to actually battle anybody. As seen at the end of the Goku Black Saga, Zeno can erase literally anything and everything from existence with the blink of an eye.
If Zeno wanted to, he could easily delete Vegeta before the Prince of All Saiyans even realized something was amiss. Unless Dragon Ball Super's power scaling spirals out of control, there is simply no chance of Vegeta ever catching up to Zeno. Zeno exists to remind the audience that there will always be somebody better than Goku and Vegeta – the Omni-King just takes it to the logical extreme by being the most powerful God in existence.
