In case you need a refresher, Cape Bonavista is locatedwest of Havana City in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. You can return to this island after the prologue once you secure a ship after Sequence 2. After that, feel free to sail back to Cape Bonavista and head to the Mayan Stele puzzle location (159, 584).

After arriving at the Cape Bonavista Mayan Stelae puzzle location in AC Black Flag Resynced, climb up to the highest pillar/totem to start it. Edward will see two intersecting lines projected on the ground, three of which have circles at their end.

  • Reposition the lines so the intersection is directly in the middle of the pillars.
  • Rotate the lines until each of the three circles highlights a pillar.
  • Adjust the size so that the projected circles overlap each pillar.

The Mayan Stone retrieved after solving the Cape Bonavista Mayan Stelae puzzle in AC Black Flag Resynced is one of 16 total relics in the game. Once you've collected all of them after solving their respective puzzle, you'll need to head to the Mayan Temple in Tulum. It's located on the western edge of the map in the Conttoyor region.

Players will automatically arrive in Tulum during the "Nothing is True..." main quest in Sequence 4.

Mayan Temple Tulum Use Mayan Stones AC Black Flag Resynced

In Tulum, there's a Mayan Temple in the northwest corner of the island that players can enter. Inside, there's a wall with 16 slots, each meant for one Mayan Stone. After finding and placing all 16 Mayan Stones on this wall, players will receive the Mayan Outfit and a trinket that nullifies all bullet damage in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.
