With the arrival of the Hot Bat Summer Event, Fortnite players have yet another opportunity to earn a free skin, but there is a catch. You will need a friend and access to Fortnite Mobile.   • How to Get: Level up while playing on the Fortnite Mobile app in a party with friends

The Kickoff Yeddy Skin is a free reward that players can unlock exclusively through Fortnite Mobile, meaning that you will need access to Fortnite Mobile on an eligible device beforehand. You will also need at least one other player on your friends list. Once you have met these requirements, you are free to go ahead and start unlocking the skin.

To get the Kickoff Yeddy Skin, you will need to complete the Kickoff Yeddy Quest on Fortnite Mobile. This tasks you with gaining one level while playing on the Fortnite Mobile app in a party with friends. Only one friend and one level is needed, but this will also work in Trios and Squads if you have a few more players.

Since the quest doesn't specify a mode, you can complete it by playing any expirience. Creative is a good way to earn enough XP for a quick level up, while collecting Sprites and completing the latest Weekly and Hot Bat Summer Quests will also reward you with plenty of XP in Battle Royale. Once you have earned one level in the Fortnite Mobile app while in a party with friends, the Kickoff Yeddy Skin will be unlocked and added straight to your Locker.

The Kickoff Yeddy Skin is only available for free till Sunday, August 9. After this date, it may return again in the Item Shop.

All Kickoff Yeddy Skin Items & Rewards in Fortnite

The Kickoff Yeddy Skin is currently the only reward as part of the quest and does not come with any additional Back Bling, Pickaxe, or Glider. However, it does come with additional styles. These are as follows:

  • Glasses On
  • Glasses Off

The Kickoff Yeddy Skin is also a reactive Outfit that gradually turns Gold as you get eliminations. This can be deactivated if you prefer the default look by editing the outfit's additional styles.
