Light Cone

Why It's Good

A Star That Lights the Night

A Star That Lights the Night provides something other Erudition Light Cones don't have: an effect that works around Assist Skill. Every time she triggers Assist Skill, she regenerates 6 Energy. She also gets up to 60% Assist Skill DMG and 60% Ultimate DMG after triggering the effect three times. Additionally, she unconditionally ignores 32% of the target's DEF when dealing damage.

All this puts A Star That Lights the Night far ahead of the other Light Cones for Himeko Nova.

Into the Unreachable Veil

Into the Unreachable Veil is the only Light Cone that can actually compete with A Star That Lights the Night. The Herta's signature Light Cone increases Crit Rate by 12% unconditionally, so she can easily have a good Crit Rate. This is especially important if you're pairing Himeko Nova with characters that boost Crit DMG, like Sunday and Sparkle.

This weapon increases Skill and Ultimate DMG by 60% after Himeko Nova uses her Ultimate. This effect lasts for three turns, so she should be able to maintain a permanent uptime. Additionally, the Light Cone restores 1 Skill Point when Himeko Nova uses her Ultimate.

Life Should Be Cast to Flames

Although Assist Skill and Skill are a major part of Himeko SP's kit, her Ultimate also deals a ton of damage. So Life Should Be Cast to Flames' ability to regenerate Energy is beneficial for her. The Light Cone's effect becomes even more notable if you use characters who can advance Himeko Nova's turn, like Sunday or Sparkle.

Sadly, Anaxa's best Light Cone doesn't provide any direct DMG bonus or Crit value for Himeko Nova. Instead, it provides a team-wide benefit by decreasing the enemy's DEF by 12%.

5-Star Stat Sticks

If you don't have any of the three viable Light Cones for Himeko Nova in HSR, then you can opt for stat sticks like Before Dawn, An Instant Before A Gaze, and Night on the Milky Way.

Before Dawn boosts Skill and Ultimate DMG, which is perfect for Himeko. Sadly, it's a mere 18% increase. Meanwhile, An Instant Before A Gaze increases Ultimate DMG by 54%, but doesn't buff Skill DMG. Both of these weapons increase Crit DMG by 36% unconditionally, though, so they're perfect stat sticks for Himeko Nova.

Meanwhile, Night on the Milky Way is the original Himeko's signature weapon. It increases ATK and is great in multi-target battles, but falls short in single-enemy combat. You should only use this weapon if you plan to bring Himeko Nova against multiple enemies and have the Light Cone on high refinement.

4-Star Stat Sticks

For 4-star Light Cones, suitable choices for Himeko Nova include: Today Is Another Peaceful Day, The Seriousness of Breakfast, The Day The Cosmos Fell, A Dream Scented in Wheat, and Geniuses' Repose.

Today Is Another Peaceful Day is an old Battle Pass weapon, and it provides a 30% DMG bonus without any condition. It doubles to 60% on maximum refinement. Meanwhile, A Dream Scented in Wheat is a fairly new Battle Pass option that grants 12% Crit Rate and 24% Ultimate DMG on R1.

Geniuses' Repose is a banner weapon that increases ATK by 16% (32% on R5). When Himeko Nova defeats an enemy, she also gets 24% Crit DMG (48% on R5). This weapon is great when you're fighting small enemies or bosses with minions, but falls short in single-target scenarios.

For a F2P choice, The Seriousness of Breakfast and The Day The Cosmos Fell are your go-to. At R5, The Day The Cosmos Fell increases ATK by 24%. When Himeko Nova attacks at least two enemies with Fire Weakness, she also gets 40% Crit DMG. Very niche, but works well when these specific conditions are met.

Himeko Nova Best Relics In HSR

The best Relic main stat for Himeko Nova depends on her team. For example, if she has advance-forward characters like Sparkle and Sunday on her team, then it's best to use ATK Boots instead of SPD. But if she's playing without an advancer, then she should fulfill the 134 SPD breakpoint, as she must move as much as possible if you want the team to rotate smoothly.

For that, you can also choose between ATK or Energy Regeneration Rate on her Link Rope. If you're struggling to maintain her Ultimate, then it's fine to use ERR and sacrifice some ATK stats.

Relic Set

Why It's Good

As Navigator Isee Sees It

As Navigator Isee Sees It increases Himeko SP's ATK by 12% and up to 54% Skill and Ultimate DMG. It's perfect for Himeko Nova as it provides everything she needs to maximize her DPS.

Scholar Lost in Erudition

If you don't want to farm the new Relic set, then you can still use Scholar Lost in Erudition. It boosts Crit Rate by 8% and increases Skill and Ultimate DMG by 20%. After using Ultimate, she also gets a 25% boost to her next Skill.

This set is the easiest to work with, as you don't need to worry about fulfilling conditions or stacking anything. However, of course, it's slightly worse than a full-stack As Navigator Isee Sees It.

Wavestrider Captain

Wavestrider Captain is great if Himeko has teammates who can use their abilities on her, like Sunday, Sparkle, Dan Heng Permansor Terrae, and Huohuo. Although it can potentially outperform Scholar Lost in Erudition, it also forces you to play in a specific order and rotations to maintain its full buff.

Planar Ornament Set

Why It's Good

Fallen Star Anchorage

Fallen Star Anchorage provides 8% Crit Rate and 32% Crit DMG. It only works if Himeko Nova has a Trailblaze Companion, but since you should always have one on the team, this condition is always met. Trailblaze Companions include Dan Heng, Dan Heng IL, Dan Heng PT, Welt, Trailblazer, Sunday, March 7th, Evernight, and Himeko herself. All forms of Trailblazer and March 7th are applicable.

The Wondrous BananAmusement Park

The Wondrous BananAmusement Park grants 48% Crit DMG, but only if Himeko Nova has a summon. Therefore, this Planar Ornament set only works if she's playing with Dan Heng Permansor Terrae.
