New Legend of Zelda Collectibles Officially in the Works, Reveal Coming Soon
Hasbro will release figures based on The Legend of Zelda, with the first products set to arrive in 2027. The Legend of Zelda has been one of Nintendo's biggest franchises since the first game was released on the Japanese Famicom in 1986. Over the last 40 years, a variety of titles have been added to the series, often with their own unique designs for staple characters Link, Zelda, and Ganon.
On July 16, Hasbro announced that it has partnered with Nintendo to create a series of Zelda collectibles, though they won't begin to appear until next year. However, fans will get a chance to see the first figures long before they reach store shelves. Three 6-inch scale figures will be revealed by Hasbro at San Diego Comic Con, which will begin on July 23. A remake of Zelda: Ocarina of Time comes out this year, and it seems likely that the first trio of figures could be based on that specific game. It's also possible the first figures could pull from Breath of the Wild instead, given that game's popularity among fans.
