Say Hello to Destiny 2's Easiest Meta Build
Andrea loves games where she's tasked with thinking strategically. She has an obscene amount of hours in Path of Exile (almost 8,000 on Steam), over 2,000 hours in Destiny 2, probably around 10,000 hours in Pokemon games, which she always completes the Pokedex of and tries to fill the shiny Pokedex too, 100% completion in multiple RPGs of various kinds, like Borderlands 2 and 3, Oblivion (and Oblivion Remastered), she plays MMOs religiously (especially World of Warcraft), and she has a vast experience in playing and building decks for Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon TCG Pocket, and Disney Lorcana.
Andrea has extensive professional experience as a translator and ghostwriter. She has a BA in Psychology from 2015, a Master's Degree in Communication & Translation from 2016, and a Master's Degree in Copywriting & Advertising from 2019.
One of Andrea's favorite articles for GameRant is about Pokemon Violet probably outselling Pokemon Scarlet, which is what happened. One of the articles she's most proud of is about The Last of Us 2's Ellie and the game's perpetual cycle of revenge.
Destiny 2 players are sharing a new meta build that deals incredible damage and is extremely easy to play. With Destiny 2 ending support after the June 9 update, players can rest assured that their builds will most likely be forever relevant, as Bungie has stated that no more balance patches will be released. This is a great time to experiment with various Exotics, abilities, new guns, and more, as any newly discovered combos and builds will endure the test of time.
Not every build is going to be safe for sure, though. Given that Bungie had mass layoffs hitting almost 300 developers in studio and more across SIE and contractor jobs, and considering that Bungie and Sony are no longer allocating resources to the game, Destiny 2 items can be disabled if they are game-breaking. An example is how Bungie recently disabled two armor sets in Destiny 2 for Crucible activities, as they were too powerful and couldn't be fixed. Likewise, Divinity is no longer available in the Insurrection Prime fight in Pantheon.
Destiny 2 Player Shares Easy, Jaw-Dropping Endgame DPS Build
Destiny 2 player and content creator milito shared a video showcasing the power of a new meta DPS build for Hunters, including the Moebius Quiver Super and the Hierarchy of Needs Exotic bow. Moebius Quiver deals damage to the target, suppresses them, and applies both weaken and volatile, but more importantly, it gives the user a damage bonus of 150% to all damage dealt with bows for a long duration. On the other hand, Hierarchy of Needs creates Guidance Rings on precision hits, increasing the damage of the Exotic bow by adding seeker projectiles for each Ring a given arrow passes through, meaning that the build can be scaled up higher in a group with other players using the same bow. Even solo, though, milito notes that the build achieves a reliable 5k DPS just by shooting Hierarchy of Needs after Moebius Quiver and using Destiny 2's Fortune's Favor Exotic boots, which is incredible. On a team, the DPS is 10k with the Exotic bow alone, which is more than most builds can put out and much easier to achieve.

In the same thread, milito also showed the build destroying the Explicator of Planets boss from the Root of Nightmares Raid completely solo and only using Hierarchy of Needs. Another Destiny 2 player shared a video on YouTube of their duo clears of every Destiny 2 Dungeon boss with just Moebius Quiver, Fortune's Favor, and Hierarchy of Needs for both players. The results are incredible, and the bosses simply melt when arrows are shot through two or more Rings.
Fortune's Favor is one of the best Exotic armor for Hunters in Destiny 2 because it gives players a 15% damage bonus when they have an overshield, which the Exotic itself can generate. The Void sublcass is needed for Moebius Quiver anyway, and it too has ways to generate overshields. On top of that, players can use the Implement of Curiosity Artifact to further boost the build's damage.
Given that the game was facing end of service, seven Artifacts are in Destiny 2's Monument of Triumph update to allow Guardians to have more options for buildcrafting. Among them is the Implement of Curiosity, which gives the build a few buffs. For starters, Fever and Chill gives Hierarchy of Needs the ability to proc Radiant on precision hits, which buffs weapon damage. Then, applying a Strand or Stasis debuff on the enemy before using Moebius Quiver and Hierarchy of Needs, procs Cauterized Darkness, which increases their Solar damage taken. Radiant Shrapnel further increases damage when dealing sustained weapon damage while Radiant by releasing Solar projectiles that deal damage and scorch. Finally, Argent Quiver consumes an Armor Charge to increase damage and reload speed for a bow's next three shots.

Considering that DPS is incredible with Hierarchy of Needs alone, players can use what they want in the other slots. A good option would be one of the new Destiny 2 weapons in Monument of Triumph, Festival Flight, a FotL area-denial grenade launcher that rolls with Slice and Attrition Orbs, so proccing Cauterized Darkness is easy while also generating Orbs of Power and dealing passive damage.
