Passive skills can make or break a Pal in Palworld, especially if you're trying to get one that's hyper-specialized at doing a very specific thing. The big 1.0 patch introduced a number of new Pal passives, and some of these are absolute game-changers. If you're curious as to what new skills were added to the game, here's a list of the new Palworld 1.0 passives, including the ones under World Tree tier.

Pals can come with different passives when captured or bred, and those can include any of the ones mentioned above, except for World Tree passives. The latter can only be found on Pals that appear in the World Tree region, and unlike regular passives, these always come with a serious drawback.

Which New Passives Should You Get?

I strongly recommend having at least one Pal with the Babysitter passive, as this significantly speeds up the breeding process in Palworld. The more Pals you get, the better your chances of getting one that has the perfect combination of passives.

God of Destruction or Twin-Edged Holy Sword pair nicely with passives that improve survivability. If you don't mind being a glass cannon, then using them by themselves is fine too.
