Ultimate ship plans allow you to upgrade the Jackdaw in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, and turn your ship into the most powerful, intimidating, and indestructible vessel to ever sail the Caribbean. There's just one problem: Most ship upgrade ultimate plans are either buried on remote islands or dropped at the bottom of the ocean.
As it would take many hours to dig them up by yourself, here's where to find every ultimate ship plan in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.
How to find ultimate ship plans in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced
Once you've unlocked Edward's homestead at Great Inagua during the "This Old Cove" main quest, you can build and upgrade the harbormaster stand at the docks (see the location marked in the picture below). Once you've fully upgraded this shop and begun upgrading the Jackdaw, you'll find that most of the ship's features require an "ultimate plan" to unlock the final upgrade. You will find these ultimate plans by collecting buried treasures and looting shipwreck locations with the diving bell.
If an ultimate plan is found in a buried treasure chest, you must obtain the treasure map first, then find the buried treasure's location by studying the map. The list below includes links to more detailed treasure map and buried treasure locations. To find the ultimate plans hidden in shipwrecks (diving bell locations), complete the main quest called "Diving for Medicines," after which the shipwreck locations will become visible on the map. Sail the Jackdaw to such a location, dive down, and scan the area for a special chest — unlike "regular" treasure chests, a chest containing an ultimate plan is slightly larger and counts as a location "secret."
