How to Prestige in Black Ops 1 (Pros & Cons)

You can Prestige once you reach Rank 50, which will take a total of 1,265,500 XP. There are 15 Prestiges in total, with Prestige 15 being the official "Prestige Master" for Black Ops 1.

Every time you Prestige, you will reset to Level 1 and lose all your COD Points, weapons, perks, and challenges. However, you will gain new custom classes, playercards, challenges, and cosmetics.

If you have any COD Points left before hitting Prestige, spend them on Emblems and Backgrounds, as these are not reset!
