Black Ops 2 – All Prestige Levels & Rewards
There are 10 Prestiges in Black Ops 2, along with the addition of Prestige Master, which will prove you're the ultimate player (with a road to Level 1,000 waiting for you). Below, you'll see all Prestige emblems in Black Ops 2, along with the XP required to get there and the unlocks you can expect to get along the way!

If you do not spend your Prestige Token before hitting another Prestige, then it will be lost, as they do not stack. You should always redeem the locked Custom Classes so you can get the maximum of 10, or you will be locked out of them forever.
How Prestige Works in Black Ops 2 (Pros & Cons)
Once you hit Level 55, you can enter Prestige. When you enter Prestige, you will reset your progress to Level 1, and you will need to re-unlock weapons, equipment, and perks. However, your camos, weapon XP, and challenges will not be reset.
When you enter Prestige, you will unlock a Prestige Unlock Token, which will allow you to permanently unlock a single item. This item will be forever unlocked, so when you hit your next Prestige, you can still use the item that previously had an Unlock Token!
When you Prestige, you will also get a Prestige Award, which gives you the option of one of the following:
- Extra Custom Class (can be redeemed a maximum of 5 times)
- Unlock Tokens Refund (Get all your used Unlock Tokens back to re-spend them)
- Fresh Start (return to non-Prestige Level 1)
If you reach Level 55 in Prestige 10, you will unlock Prestige Master, which raises the level cap to 1,000! When you hit Prestige Master, "Fresh Start" becomes unavailable.
