Digimon UP combines an idle card-RPG with Gacha gimmicks, and it can become quite fun. The problem is that it can also be overwhelming, as many gacha games are, so it's easy to make mistakes that slow down your progress. While the game does a decent job introducing its core mechanics, many of its most important features aren't immediately obvious.

With lots of currencies, banners, things to do, summons, cards, training, and dungeons. With so many things to do and so little time, beginners might feel a bit lost. These Digimon UP tips and tricks will help beginners progress more efficiently and get the most out of every battle from the very beginning.

Digimon UP Banners: Summons, Skill Cards & More

Digimon UP Banners Summons

Digimon UP has three basic types of banners: General, Buddy, SP Support . The General Banner has Skill Card Pulls, Support Digimon Pulls, and Crest Pulls.

Digimon UP General Banners

Players can get Skill Cards that can be used during battle and become part of their Combat Power once equipped. As with any other pull, they come in rarities from Normal (N) to Extra + (EX+) and ideally, players will want to aim for the highest rarities to get the most powerful battle skills. Tamers can have 5 Skills cards in their decks. They require Skill Card Tickets to be summoned (Green).

The same can be said about Support Digimon, which will increase the battle power, aid your Partner Digimon in battle, and provide various passive effects to the group. Tamers can have up to 5 Support Digimon active at the same time. They require Support Tickets to be summoned (Pink).

Crests, on the other hand, are powerful passive items that can be equipped once players reach Stage 500. These go from Rare to Ultra Rare, and require Shard Points to be summoned.

Buddy and Support summons are special Banners that require Digi Diamonds and Digi Emeralds to be pulled. There's a daily limit of 10 pulls per day using 3000 Digi Emeralds and no limit for Digi Diamons, which is the paid currency.

The Total Combat Power is the result of all Combined Stats provided by all the equipped Support Digimon, Support Cards, Buddies, Tamer Gear, Digimon Passives, Level, and SP Support Buddies.

Combat Power & Battle Stages

Digimon UP Combat Power Skill Cards Battle Stages and Stats

Managing your Tamer and Partner Digimon is the basis of the game. Next, you will have to learn how to strengthen your team by adding Support Digimon Cards and Skill Cards to your deck.

First, you must check your Partner Digimon stats and the Support Digimon tab. The main goal will be to increase your Total Passive Bonus (ATK, DEF, HP) provided by support Digimon to the maximum possible.

Each Combat Stage will be fought automatically, and while you do so, you will earn Hologram Tickets for each stage completed. We will talk about Hologram Tickets and how to use them to empower your party next.

Once you've reached Tamer Level 15, you can use the Buddy System. Tai & Agumon, for example, can join the party and help you during combat, and the Buddy Base also provides a passive bonus which increases your Total Combat Power. Leveling this up

requires Buddy Soul, acquired by participating in the Digifactory Dungeon.

Leveling Up Your Hologram Device ASAP

Digimon Up Holographic Device

The Hologram Device is the fastest way to gain power in Digimon UP. It increases the Tamer's stats, which also determine the Total Combat Power.

Each time you pull from the Hologram Device, an equipment card will be generated. You can equip it or discard it (Sell It) as the battle goes on. This will actively alter your stats and you need to prioritize reaching the Soft Cap, determined by your Tamer Level.

Example: You have Tamer level 15, and all Rare Equipment at level 14, that means you are about to hit the Soft Cap at Equipment level 15. Doing so will push the Hard Cap and enter the next Tier (Level 15 to 20) of equipment.

Rarity is also a factor, but in order to pull rarer items, you need to Upgrade Your Hologram Device. How to do that? Simple: Keep pulling and selling equipment and chips you don't need to receive Tamer EXP, Digimon EXP, and Bits. With the Bits, you can upgrade the Hologram Device.

Once upgraded, the Hologram Device will provide better equipment (since the probability for rarer pulls will increase), and the Hard Cap will be pushed further, making sure more powerful equipment is pulled, and you consistently level up your team.

The Holographic Device Upgrade will use Bits, and has Stages. Players need to deposit bits and complete each Stage to unlock the upgrade, and then wait until the Upgrade is done. They can speed the process by watching ads, up to 5 times per day, at a ratio of 30 min reduction per ad.

Exhaust All Daily Rewards, Events, Missions, & Dungeons

Digimon UP Daily missions Events Rewards

Having more Tickets to pull is the path to reaching new levels of power. The more the Total Combat Power increases, the further in the Battle Stages the players will reach, and the more their Partners will grow.

Make sure to check all the Battle Pass Rewards (even if you're not paying premium) and also exhaust every Dungeon Ticket, every Reward Ticket, and all the Daily and Weekly Missions.

Each day, players can also watch a Certain Number of Ads to get extra pulls and extra dungeon tickets. Make sure to "watch them" to increase your intake of resources.

Exploring the Digital World, Farming, and Training

Digimon UP Exploring Digital World Farming Feeding Training

Every day, you get to explore the Digital World by using Movement, Attacks, and Dashes. Your Digimon will find resources like Training Tickets and Summon Tickets, as well as replenish its resources as it moves around the map.

It's a mini game you need to play in order to get Training Tickets, which lead to the next important part of Digimon UP: Training your Partner Digimon is critical for its growth.

The training chart is pretty intuitive, players drop tickets, choose the training course, and increase their partner's stats. They need to wait a certain amount of time between training sessions, but they can perform other activities while they wait, or speed things up by watching ads. (5 Per Day).

The Digi Farm and Feeding Mini-game is another way to boost the Combat Power of your partner. Make sure to plant Meat every day, then harvest regularly and feed to unlock buffs.

Each time you feed your Partner, you can Tap into the "Lock" Icon to save a buff from being replaced each time you feed your Digimon. That way, you can increase your Feed Level without losing the best buffs, which also come in rarities from N to SSR.
