How to Get the Batman Grapnel Gun Mythic in Fortnite

The Batman Grapnel is a returning Mythic Item that players can get exclusively during the Bat Summer Event for Chapter 7 Season 3, available until Wednesday, August 19, which happens to be the end of the season.

There are two main ways to get the Batman Grapnel Gun. The first is to find it in Chests. This method, however, relies on a bit of RNG, with Rare Chests yielding the best chance of finding it.

The best and guaranteed way to get the Batman Grapnel Gun, however, is to purchase it from Batman. Only one of the Grapnel Gun is sold by the Batman NPC for 2,000 Gold Bars per match, allowing you to get it every game if you are lucky enough to find it in stock. Batman can be found over at the beach just on the west side of the fishing dock POI (the island north of Golden Grove).

You can only carry one Batman Grapnel Gun at a time, with you automatically discarding your currently equipped Grapnel Gun upon picking up another. Since its amount is limited, in the event that you find another one with more hooks, pick it up to replace your current one.

How to Use the Batman Grapnel Gun Mythic in Fortnite

The Batman Grapnel Gun functions exactly like it did during its first appearance in Season X, functioning as a long-range Grapple Gun. When fired, players are pulled towards the grapple's location, deploying the Batman Cape Glider if they are high enough.

The Batman Grapnel Gun has a further effective range than the regular Grappler and goes into a short three-second cooldown after each use. In total, the Batman Grapnel Gun has 27 Hooks, and its ammunition cannot be replenished, with the player automatically discarding the item once they run out of ammunition.
