Where to Find Renjishi in Palworld
Renjishi is one of the new Pals introduced in Palworld's 1.0 version, and they're one of the best Fire-type Pals you can get in the game. To find a Renjishi, you'll first need to open up the barrier to the World Tree by capturing a Panthalus. Then, head to the northern quadrant of the World Tree map to find an Alpha Renjishi hanging around its designated spot. Capturing a Renjishi in Palworld will definitely take a while, but once you get one, you're pretty much set for the rest of the game.
Palworld: Renjishi Location
There's a Renjishi near the Corroded Hollow region of Palworld's World Tree map. The path leading to the Renjishi is fairly straightforward, but before you can get there, you'll first need to capture a Panthalus. This is a mandatory step, as without a Panthalus, you wouldn't be able to breach the barrier separating the World Tree from the rest of the world.
Panthalus is an extremely powerful Pal with over 300,000 HP, and to fight it, you'll need to do some extra steps first. Once you've captured a Panthalus in Palworld, go to the base of the World Tree to the northeast, then interact with the terminal there to remove the barrier.
After reaching the World Tree, all that's left is to go to the Corroded Hollow to the north and find the Renjishi. It has its own marker on the map, so finding it shouldn't be hard. One thing, though: the deeper parts of the Corroded Hollow are filled with a toxic gas, and you'll take constant damage while you're inside it. Thankfully, the Renjishi's arena doesn't have this gas, so you'll be able to fight and capture it normally.
You'll need high-tier Pal Spheres in order to capture a Renjishi. Chests in the World Tree have a chance to contain Ancient Pal Spheres, which you can safely use on the Pals found in this region (albeit with a low capture rate).
Renjishi Stats & Partner Skill
Renjishis have the Stage Combat Partner Skill. When you have a Renjishi in your party, all of your attacks will inflict a non-stacking Burn effect. This is very good against Ice and Grass-type Pals since they're weak to Fire damage, and Renjishis themselves do good damage against most targets if they have the right skills. From what I can tell, most of the skills Renjishis have access to deal AoE damage. They're good for dealing with big groups of enemies, but not so much against single targets because of long casting animations.
Renjishis also have the following Work Suitabilities:
- Kindling 8
- Handiwork 6
- Transporting 5
- Gathering 5
These guys are very efficient when it comes to base tasks, though they're at their best when assigned Kindling tasks. Additionally, if your Renjishi has good AoE skills like Ignis Rage and Volcanic Rain, they can very easily defend your base against Syndicate raids.
If you accidentally kill the Renjishi in the World Tree, come back after 15 minutes or so or just wait for it to respawn.
