Throughout July 2-29 each year in Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit, the seasonal Summertide Faire event is active. As well as Ms. Carouse visiting the island with special seasonal wares and summer-themed collectibles, there are also new activities to take part in, including hunting for treasure!

You'll find Bone Map Pieces while digging over the island, but you might be unaware of what you're meant to do with these or the rewards you can get for going on a little hot or cold treasure hunt. Here's what you need to know.

How To Craft Bone Maps

You'll easily accumulate a lot of Bone Map Pieces from digging in dirt or grass mounds around the island, then you just need to speak with Ms. Carouse who can be found west of where your camp is, by the Arbor.

Choose the 'I want to craft something' option, and then you can craft a Bone Map with five Bone Map Pieces. Each Bone Map can only be used once and the tool will break afterward.

We do not recommend making more than one at a time, unless you are close to the end of the Summertide Faire event and wish to stockpile them for use afterwards. The maps do not stack and take up a lot of inventory space and as you can only use one per day, that means they'll potentially take up too much space.

How To Use Bone Maps To Find Treasure

Once you have a Bone Map, equip it in your hand and then you'll get a little icon above your head showing either a snowflake or a flame of varying size. This is a game of hot and cold, so the closer you get to the treasure, the bigger the flame will get.

Once the flame reaches maximum size, an 'X' will be marked on the spot that you can interact with. Rewards can include up to 5,000 coins, various Gems, and Ingots.
