How to Get Eidrolon in Palworld
Eidrolon is a dual-element Dark and Dragon Pal in Palworld that players can find in the Sunreach region, with an Ignis variant found in the depths of the World Tree. They're one of the better flying Pals in Palworld, especially for players who like using Dark and Dragon Pals in their party. Catching either of the Eidrolon variants is pretty simple, but if you're going for the Ignis version, you'll have to go through a few hoops first.
Palworld: Eidrolon Location (Field Boss)
The field boss version of Eidrolon can be found on Sunreach, the group of floating islands found just east of Feybreak Island. To get to Sunreach, you'll need either of the following:
- Beat Bjorn, the boss in Feybreak Tower (or reach the portal on top of the tower by using a flying Pal)
- Use a high-stamina flying Pal like Suzaku to reach the lowest island on Sunreach.
Teleporting to Sunreach via Bjorn's tower on Feybreak Island is much easier than manually flying up to the floating islands. You don't even need to beat Bjorn himself — just mount your flying Pal, then fly up to the top of the tower and interact with the portal there. This will teleport you somewhere near Sunreach Tower, and from there, you just need to go west until you find the Eidrolon field boss.
Eidrolon Ignis Location
As for the Ignis variant of Eidrolon, you'll find them deep inside the World Tree map, which you'll need to unlock by capturing a Panthalus. We have a guide on how to unlock the World Tree here, but to summarize that, you need to find four pieces of an ancient flute and beat Panthalus inside its domain.
Once you're inside the World Tree, head north-northwest until you reach the Corroded Hollow (the same area where you find Renjishi in Palworld). You should be able to see plenty of Eidrolons minding their own business, and unlike the one on Sunreach, these guys are just regular Pals, not field bosses.
Still, you'll want to stock up on the strongest Pal Spheres you can find if you want to capture any Pal in the World Tree. You can search chests and salvage piles on Sunreach for a chance to get Sol and Ancient Spheres for free. Don't forget to bring a Mimog with you — they'll let you open chests without needing any keys.
Eidrolon Breeding Combinations
If you have a Breeding Farm in your base, you can combine the following Pals to get eggs that hatch into Eidrolons:
- Eidrolon: Ophydia x Blazamut
- Eidrolon Ignis: Suzaku x Eidrolon
Eidrolon Stats & Partner Skill
Eidrolons have the Liberated Pterasaur Partner Skill, which grants them bonus Attack and Movement Speed based on how many Dark and Dragon Pals are in your party. This makes Eidrolon a good candidate for players who like bringing a gaggle of Daedreams with the Daedream Necklace.
As for Work Suitability, Eidrolons are only good for Transporting items. I wouldn't worry about this much unless your base is seriously struggling with overproduction. It's often better to save your base's Pal slots for more useful Pals like Solenne or Renjishi.
Eidrolon Ignis have level 6 Kindling, making them decent for manning furnaces. The Partner Skill they have is essentially the same as a regular Eidrolon, except it works with Fire and Dragon Pals.
