There's a lot of potential for a Stasis Titan in Destiny 2, but one that really shines in endgame content (like Ultimate Conquests) is the Warmind + Synthoceps + Icebreaker Stasis Titan. While there's potential for plenty of other combinations, this ultimate Stasis Titan build for Monument of Triumph essentially provides you with infinite stasis crystals, melee abilities, healing, and Frost Armor. Simply put? You're going to be immortal, so check out the build below, and we'll explain how it works!

This build will go through the Aspects, Fragments, Artifact, Armor, Weapons, Exotics, Mods, and Stats that you'll want to follow.

Best Aspects & Fragments for Stasis Titan

Best Aspects & Fragments for Stasis Titan

Aspect/Fragment

Description

Howl of the Storm

While sliding, activate your charged melee ability to launch a wave of Stasis energy forward that freezes enemy combatants, slows enemy players, and creates Stasis crystals.

Grants an additional melee charge.

Tectonic Harvest

Picking up Stasis shards grants stacks of Frost Armor.

While you have Frost Armor, defeating combatants with Stasis or Kinetic weapons may cause them to shatter, damaging other nearby combatants. The shatter chance increases with your Frost Armor stacks.

Taking damage while you have Frost Armor generates melee energy.

Whisper of Rime

Your Frost Armor has increased duration and maximum stack count.

Whisper of Fissures

Increases the damage and size of the burst of Stasis when you destroy a Stasis crystal or defeat a frozen target.

Whisper of Hunger

Increases the melee energy gained from picking up Stasis shards.

-20 Melee

Whisper of Conduction

Nearby Stasis shards track to your position.

+10 Health

+10 Super

For Howl of the Storm as your first Aspect, you're simply going to run, slide, and use your melee ability. This will summon Stasis crystals, freeze enemies, and return your melee energy, essentially allowing you to infinitely spawn crystals that will shatter enemies.

Tectonic Harvest, as your second Aspect, will make you immortal. Since you're constantly going to be generating Stasis shards, Tectonic Harvest is going to convert them into Frost Armor. With Tectonic Harvest, this Frost Armor reaches 7 stacks, gives 50% damage resistance, and increases shatter chance. Plus, taking damage generates melee energy to build back into Howl of the Storm.

For the Fragments, you're going to want all of the ones shown above, and here's a quick overview as to why and how they work with the build:

  • Whisper of Rime increases Frost Armor duration and stack count, meaning you can have more damage resistance for longer.
  • Whisper of Fissures will increase the damage and size of destroyed Stasis crystals and frozen targets, and since Howl of the Storm is going to constantly generate Stasis crystals to destroy, it's a no-brainer.
  • Whisper of Hunger will increase melee energy gained from Stasis shards, and since you're constantly using melee energy to generate Stasis shards, it's essential.
  • Whisper of Conduction will cause Stasis shards to track to you, which means you don't need to seek them out because they're coming to you to give you that sweet Frost Armor and melee energy.

Stasis Titan Weapon Synergy: Ice Breaker

Best Weapons (& Exotic) for Stasis Titan

Your Exotic Weapon will be the Ice Breaker Sniper Rifle, which is a Special | Energy weapon that you can farm from the Corrupted Peppeteer in Vesper's Host.

Ice Breaker isn't essential, but it is the meta for this build, as you will have near-infinite ammo by defeating powerful combatants or by killing enemies with other weapons or abilities (like your melee). The most important part of this gun is how defeating frozen enemies causes Ignitions, so you're going to use Howl of the Storm to freeze an enemy, shoot them with Icebreaker, and watch the enemy die, shatter all the crystals around them, and Ignite.

The Catalyst for the Ice Breaker is also essential, as it makes it so that landing a hit on a slowed or frozen target has a chance to return ammo to the magazine.

Best Weapons (& Exotic) for Stasis Titan (2)

For your Primary Weapon, you're going to want a weapon (like Peculiar Charm SMG) with the two Perks: Atrition Orbs and Kinetic Tremors. Attrition Orbs are going to help generate Orbs of Power with sustained damage, and Kinetic Tremors are going to cause mini-explosions for more damage and to help shatter Stasis crystals.

Your Heavy Weapon really doesn't matter, and it's dependent on what activity you're running. If you want a sword with Eager Edge, then go for it! But, if you're in an activity with long-range battles, another Heavy Sniper, or even a Machine Gun might work wonders.

Stasis Armor: Seventh Seraph & Icefall Mantle

Best Armor Set (& Exotic) for Stasis Titan (2)

The Best Armor Set for the Stasis Titan is Seventh Seraph, which is farmed from the Cosmodrome. You're going to want to use four pieces of this armor, as they provide the following bonuses:

Set Bonus

Description

Why It's Used

Rasputin's Wrath

Final blows with area-of-effect damage, Solar abilities, Seventh Seraph weapons, or IKELOS weapons grant Warmind Charges. Each stack of Warmind Charge increases your Weapons and Grenade stats.

Stasis Crystals will generate x10 stacks of Warmind Charge to provide +30 Grenade and Weapon stats.

Rasputin's Reprisal

While you have Warmind Charges, defeating powerful combatants, destroying a construct, or destroying a Tangle releases a Solar detonation that damages combatants and heals allies.

Constructs include barricades, turrets, Stasis crystals, and other objects created in the field.

Destroying Stasis Crystals grants Warmind Charges and now releases Solar detonations that also heal you.

You're going to want to roll for Melee, Super, Grenade, and Class/Weapons for your armor stats:

  • For Melee, aim between 70-100, because you'll want to generate your melee ability fast, but you won't want it to deal more damage since you're just using the melee ability to generate Stasis Crystals, nothing more.
  • For Super, the higher, over 100, the better, as this is going to help your Stasis Crystals and Super deal more damage to make it a true killer.
  • For Grenade, try to aim for 70 because you'll be getting +30 from the Seventh Seraph armor set, and this will help you generate more energy to throw Stasis Crystals.
  • Weapons and Class are dependent on your play style, but regardless of your choice, try to aim for 70+ and even over 100 if you can, as Weapons grant extra damage (and ammo generation) and Class is going to help you use your class ability more often.
Best Armor Set (& Exotic) for Stasis Titan

When it comes to Exotic Armor, you're going to want Icefall Mantle, which is an Exotic Gauntlet. This armor is going to tremendously aid in keeping you alive, because you will heal when you get Frost Armor (which is all the time thanks to Stasis Shards), and you can get Frost Armor and freeze enemies just by using your Class Ability. Basically, use Icefall Mantle to keep Frost Mantle active forever.

Frost Mantle is all about extra survivability, but you can use Synthoceps instead, as while surrounded by enemies, you will have a buff to your melee and super damage, as well as improved weapon handling and reload speeds.

Now that you have your armor ready, take a look at what mods we recommend running:

Slayer Baron Apothecary Satchel (Artifact Perks Breakdown)

Best Artifact for Stasis Titan

This build uses the Slayer Baron Apothecary Satchel, and here's a look at the 7 Artifact Perks used and why:

Artifact Perk

Description

Why It's Used

Crystalline Converter

After activating your class ability, your next Stasis weapon final blow creates a Stasis Shard. Gather Stasis Shards to gain stacks of Crystalline Converter, which causes your next powered Stasis melee hit to create Stasis crystals equal to the number of stacks you have.

Assists in generating Stasis crystals, as you will always be collecting Stasis Shards and using your melee ability.

Total Carnage

After finishing a powerful combatant, gain temporary damage resistance and replenish health.

Use a Finisher for more damage resistance and regain health when you're in need of it.

Frost Renewal

While you have Frost Armor, taking critical damage releases a burst that freezes nearby combatants and grants Frost Armor to you and nearby allies.

Simply by taking damage, you will generate even more ways to freeze enemies.

Hail of the Storm

Shattering frozen targets and Stasis crystals deal increased damage.

Shattering Stasis crystals release shards of ice that damage and slow targets.

Even more damage from shattering Stasis crystals and slowing targets helps with ad-control.

Curative Orbs

The first time you break a target's shield, you create an Orb of Power.

Collecting an Elemental pickup, collecting an Orb of Power, or destroying a Tangle grants you a small amount of health.

Collecting Stasis Shards grants you health, and you will constantly be collecting those.

Brain Freeze

Frozen combatants become surrounded by chilling fog, which slows combatants who aren't already.

Continues to help slow and freeze nearby targets.

Served Cold

Picking up a Stasis Shard grants you class ability energy.

Your class ability will come back faster.

How to Perform the Stasis Titan Build Loop

  1. Activate your Class Ability with Icefall Mantle to gain Frost Armor.
  2. Sprint and slide, then use a charged melee to trigger Howl of the Storm.
  3. Use Ice Breaker and shoot frozen targets (preferably precision hits) to cause Ignitions and shatter Stasis Crystals to generate Stasis Shards.
  4. Acquire Stasis Shards and Orbs of Power, then repeat the steps above infinitely.
