Palworld: Where To Find Jetragon
The universe of Palworld shelters some of the most intriguing array of pals, each one just asking to be captured, and yet, they don't plan to go down without a fight. Among such creatures stands
Jetragon, a Legendary Pal that is situated exclusively in one particular region.
Finding this elusive Pal can be a troublesome task for many players, let alone capturing him. The Dragon-type creature poses a significant challenge, even for the most seasoned players of Palworld. Nevertheless, this guide is here to make your quest easier and improve your chances of catching Jetragon by giving you helpful tips and advice.
Updated July 16, 2026 by Marc Santos: The big 1.0 update for Palworld moved Jetragon from the large volcano island to the Sunreach region. Not only has this Pal been moved to a more advanced location, but it's now also much stronger than in previous versions. Additionally, players will need to wait until they're level 79 in order to craft the saddle needed to use Jetragons as mounts in Palworld. As such, we've updated this guide to accurately reflect these changes.
Where To Find Jetragon in Palworld
Jetragon Location
As of Palworld 1.0, Jetragon can be found in the Sunreach region, which you can reach in two different ways:
- Use a flying Pal with sufficient stamina to reach the lowest floating island on Sunreach
- Use a flying Pal to reach the portal on top of Feybreak Tower on Feybreak Island
If you want to get to Sunreach early in Palworld, I recommend doing the second option. You can do this even with a basic Nitewing Pal, and you don't even need to beat the tower boss there to reach the portal (though this may get changed in a future update).
Once you're in Sunreach, go to the Azure Tapestry waypoint, then head to area marked on the image above. There's a cave opening there where a Jetragon world boss spawns in. Explore the right side of the cave to get the Jetragon to spawn.
How To Catch Jetragon in Palworld
Jetragon is a formidable opponent and won't be easily subdued. As a Dragon-type creature, an effective counter would be an Ice-type pal. On my playthrough, I used a level 72 Rayhound Cryst to capture my first Jetragon. If you have better Ice Pals, like a Frostallion, you'll have an easier time, but if you don't, just bring as many Ice Pals as you can afford to bring.
Instead of crafting Pal Spheres, I strongly recommend exploring Sunreach and looting chests and salvage piles instead. You'll often find Sol and Ancient Spheres from them, and these have the highest capture rates in the game.
Jetragon Stats and Skills
Jetragon serves as an excellent means of traversing the world map, thanks to his partner skill, which enables players to use him as a flying mount. When riding Jetragon, you gain the ability to rapidly fire missiles with a rocket launcher mounted on the Pal itself.
In terms of work suitability, Jetragon boasts a level 8 Gathering skill, and his potential drops include:
- Large Pal Soul
- Soralite
- Thermal Core
- Diamond
