Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle Is $50 Off Ahead of September Price Hike

Here’s something I didn’t think I’d see: a discount on Nintendo Switch 2, just six weeks before the console is getting an official price increase. But it’s true. Amazon is offering $49.01 off the Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle, which lets you pick your choice of three pack-in games to come with it. To sum it up, you can now get the excellent Switch 2 console and a game of your choice for $449.99, the current normal price of just the Switch 2 without a pack-in game. You can grab it here, and note that the discount appears at checkout.

So what games can you choose from in this bundle? question are Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Pokémon Pokopia. There’s not a stinker in the bunch, so you’ll get a fantastic game no matter which one you pick.

If you’re interested in this deal, I’d recommend you grab it sooner rather than later. It's unclear how long Amazon will keep offering it, as it's just a "discount at checkout" sale. It's not some big official deal Amazon is advertising heavily. It's not a deal any other retailers are matching. It could go away just as quickly as it arrived.

This console generation has been a weird one, thanks largely to the run on RAM and SSDs because all the big AI companies are buying them up to make their data centers. In the past, game consoles have gone down in price as the parts get older and technology progresses. That's not the case this generation. And Nintendo isn't the only company raising prices on its consoles. Both Xbox and PlayStation have undergone several price hikes.
