With the increase in the number of Pals to over 180 in Palworld 1.0, many returning players are finding it extremely hard to complete their Paldeck (and get all those Mimog Effigies). Among them, Moldron is one of the most sought after due to its combat abilities, work suitability, and great breeding combinations. The same can be said about Moldron Cryst, its Ice-type variant.

Whether players want to add it to their collection, put it to use at their base, or simply complete their Paldeck, knowing exactly where it spawns can save a lot of unnecessary searching. Here's where to find Moldron in Palworld 1.0, as well as how to breed it to get Moldron Cryst.

Moldron Location in Palworld 1.0

Moldron can be found and caught at Mount Obsidian Mid-Point, and near the Scorched Obsidian Watchtower, in the Volcanic Biome of the Palpagos Islands.

Players will need to be extremely careful, as this is a level 40+ Zone filled with lava. Having a flying mount like Faleris or Beakon will help players traverse the dangerous lava pits and find Moldron faster.

Moldron requires at least a Legendary Sphere to be caught. It doesn't have a particularly great set of skills, but its unique skill Magma Spit creates a pool of damaging AoE, which makes it great for Base Defense.

How to Breed Moldron in Palworld

Where to find Moldron in Palworld 1 (2)

Moldron can be bred by crossing a Renjishi and a Quivern, or, if you happen to have Panthalus, you can cross it with a Dogen to obtain the same results.

Plus. Moldron can be used for breeding lots of powerful Pals. Here's a list of breeding combinations you can try:

  • Moldron + Cryolinx = Loomen
  • Moldron + Carnibora = Nitemary
  • Moldron + Panthalus = Flaracle
  • Moldron + Sootseer = Sekhmet
  • Moldron + Cryolynx Terra = Wumpo Botan
  • Moldron + Wumpo = Tetroise
  • Moldron + Wumpo Botan = Whalaska
  • Moldron + Reptyro Cryst = Moldron Cryst

Moldron Cryst, which is the Ice-type variant of Moldron, has a similar skill, but instead of creating a lava AoE, it creates a slowing down Ice Damage pool that could be considered one of the most broken Crowd Control skills in Palworld.
